A record of IUCN Red List 'threatened species' that I've managed to photograph in their natural habitat .....

This list accompanies the special IUCN Red List photo set within my 'collections' gallery, which also provides a brief explanation of the 'categories' and 'criteria' used to determine a species conservation status. The collection also includes a single photograph of each of the following animals or birds under their respective 'threatened species' category. The table headers below mirror the IUCN format where a species conservation risk rises left to right across the categories from 'least concern' to 'extinct in the wild'. There are three categories for 'threatened species', which are 'vulnerable', 'endangered' and 'critically endangered'. The list has been divided accordingly with a separate header above each table. Each section is then split animals followed by birds, showing both the common and scientific name of the species plus a note of where it was seen and photographed.
